Sena, makes the most of music. Sena manages the rights of performers and producers. They receive a payment from us if their music has been played in public, thanks to the music licences that businesses and (broadcasting) organisations purchase from Sena. For more info, see website.

BumaStemra is an organisation representing music creators. We protect their copyright and make sure they are paid fairly for the music they create. We represent over 38,000 composers, songwriters and publishers in the Netherlands and abroad. For more info: see website.

GDA is a Portuguese collective management organisation that represents performers and manages the collection and distribution of royalties for the use of their performances. Its main objective is to defend and protect the rights of artists and ensure they are fairly compensated for the use of their works. For more info: see website.

IMRO administers the performing right in copyright music on behalf of its members (songwriters, composers, and music publishers) and on behalf of members of the international overseas societies that are affiliated to it. IMRO’s core function is to collect and distribute royalties arising from the public performance of copyright works. With a global scope, we represent creators along the chain of creation. A company that is joint venture of two Finnish CMOs: GTM (Helsinki, Finland)

In 2016, the Finnish copyright organisations Gramex and Teosto founded GT Musiikkiluvat to make it easier and simpler for businesses to purchase and manage their background music licences. We distribute the collected licence fees in full to music authors and performers. In addition to the licence sales, we help businesses of all sizes to enjoy the benefits of well-known music.

Two research universities: Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and Universitat Politécnica de Valencia

A fingerprinting company: BMAT (Barcelona, Spain)

BMAT are the Operating System for the Music Industry. BMAT is a music innovation company with a mission to index all music usage and ownership data. They help all different companies in the music industry better their data operations to make sure artists get paid for their plays. A European lobby company for artists: Aepo-Artist (Europe)

AEPO-ARTIS is a non-profit making organisation that represents CMOs of performers’ neighbouring rights. Our 39 members are spread over 29 different European countries and represent more than 650.000 performers. As the paramount voice of performers’ CMOs in Europe, AEPO-ARTIS aims to develop, strengthen and protect performers’ rights as well as to highlight the contribution that performers make to Europe’s rich and diverse cultural sector.
